More than 25 years of experience—from a 52 kg beginner to a four-time Mr. India, Asian Championship silver medalist, World top-five competitor and professional fitness coach.
My fitness journey began in 1997, immediately after completing my 12th standard. Like most young men, I entered the gym with a simple goal—to look better and become stronger. But something changed very quickly. Starting at just 52 kg, I saw my body responding remarkably well to training. That response created curiosity. I didn’t just want to know what exercise to perform; I wanted to understand why it worked. This was before YouTube, social media and easy access to fitness information. I learned through books, magazines such as Flex and Muscle & Fitness, observation, experimentation and years of practical experience. That curiosity eventually became competition. Competition became achievement. And experience eventually became a responsibility to guide others.

My fitness journey began in 1997, starting at just 52 kg. What started as curiosity about how the body responds to training became competition, then achievement, and eventually a responsibility to guide others. Today, that same curiosity and experience shape the way I coach every client — with a focus on understanding, not just instruction.
Before joining MTV, I had tried three different diet plans on my own and kept losing motivation within a month. What changed with Mukesh sir was the weekly check-ins — he actually looked at my photos and numbers and adjusted things instead of giving me the same plan for months. In five months I dropped from 88 kg to 76 kg without feeling like I was starving myself.
I've trained on and off for years but never had someone explain why I was doing an exercise, not just what to do. Mukesh sir's coaching changed how I look at my own training. I finally understand my body instead of just following instructions blindly.
